What makes HA special to you?
HA is special to me for so many reasons. Through teaching at HA I am part of a tight-knit, family community among faculty, students and parents. I am also part of such an amazing and dedicated group of educators that are all striving for student excellence.
Teaching Philosophy
I strive to create a diverse and equitable learning environment so that each child’s needs are met emotionally, mentally and academically.
Favorite Student Story
A shy and nervous kindergartener walked in for the first day of literacy testing before the school year. After a few questions, I came to one that had me point to a picture of an insect and ask what the beginning sound of the word insect is. The kindergartener in turn looked up at me and answered: “BZZZZ!”
