What makes HA special to you?
Our community is so very special. Our students and their families are amazing. I am so very pleased how our students have risen to our rigorous academics and schedule. Our parents are so very supportive of their students and of the teachers. Also special is our staff that is so dedicated, knowledgeable and hard-working.
Teaching Philosophy
I believe in challenging each student to work to their highest potential. This includes risk taking, and believing in their capabilities. I want to introduce my students to what they will need to know to be successful citizens and our future leaders. I hope to do this in a way that makes learning fun and will motivate them to want to learn more and become lifelong learners.
Favorite Student Story
I always love for my past students to come back to see me. Hearing about life after 3rd grade, their trials and successes and remembering old times is touching. Last year I had a former student ask me for a letter of recommendation for a program she wanted to attend. It was truly heartwarming that she would remember and choose me.
